THE MINDSET OF A SUCCESSFUL ADVISOR
Sales Fix LIVE is a one-day training event for service advisors designed to go beyond the normal sales training atmosphere and unlock their true potential as a leader for their customers and their team.
RAISING THE BAR
After you've identified what your next level is, reaching it is rarely (if ever) a direct path. There are easy things, hard things, and costs associated with getting to your next level. Once you've managed to get there, how do you move forward? And how do you overcome challenges and achieve success through the effective execution of what you've learned? Discover what you need to know and what to expect when you start raising the bar in your career - and in your life.
THE STRUGGLE FOR SUCCESS
What's the root cause of an advisor who's struggling or having a difficult time breaking through to their potential? So often it's how they are defining success and how they are defining what it means to be an advisor that is building this wall in front of them. Identifying whether they see the wall or not is step 1 in overcoming the struggle. Once it's been identified, the work can begin to correct it. How do you be who your customers need and who your team needs while not losing who you are in the process? Reconciling these three things is the key to unlocking success as an advisor.
TRANSLATING TECH TALK
Communicating the “Why” behind the failure is an area of conversation where advisors can quickly get lost "in the weeds". In this talk, you will gain insight into why components fail and learn how to better explain those failures to customers. We’ll explore the common challenges advisors face when communicating issues — especially when we forget that customers don’t see what we see every day.
REAL PRACTICE ON REAL REBUTTALS
Get hands-on with interactive role-playing exercises designed to strengthen your communication skills. You’ll walk away with techniques you can immediately apply in the shop — including how to handle common customer rebuttals like a pro.
BEYOND TEAMWORK:
TECHNICIAN RELATIONS
To say that advisors and technicians don't always get along would be a gross understatement. Oftentimes, Front of House and Back of House are separated with "vs." as if its a Friday Night Fight. And that's not by accident because that is how it can feel sometimes. In this session, we'll discover how to overcome that tension and build strong relationships with your technicians that will allow you to be someone they can rely on and they can be someone you can rely on.
Listening to your own phone calls is one of the best tools to learn about your strengths and weaknesses. Every advisor should make listening to their calls a regular aspect of their career. In this session, we'll listen to real recorded phone calls to focus on identifying positive takeaways as well as areas of improvement.
DATA IS KING
Don’t be afraid of data anymore! In this session, we’ll break down the myth that data is just numbers and spreadsheets. Data is really a story—one that reveals where your shop has been, where it is now, and where it can go next. You’ll learn how to read and simplify key metrics, and more importantly, what to do with them once you understand the story they’re telling. This talk will give Service Advisors the confidence to use data as a powerful tool for better decisions, stronger sales, and improved customer relationships.
what path is your advisor on?
From J-O-B to Lucrative Career Opportunity
When you see a long term future for yourself in your work, the way you approach that work is different. You take it seriously and you become intentional about identifying ways to be better at what you do because your future depends on it.

Keynote Speaker
Aaron Stokes has been in the automotive industry since 1999 and owns 11 shops (and growing) in the Middle Tennessee Area.
Aaron started Shop Fix Academy after he and his repair shops faced an unexpected and extremely challenging obstacle. He almost lost everything. Soon after, other shop owners began seeking his advice. It was clear he was operating his shops with a level of expertise that matched what they needed. Eventually, Aaron created a course teaching what he learned, and thus Shop Fix Academy was born. Little did he know at the time what it would eventually become and how many lives it would impact.
Aaron still owns his shops and is the founder and lead teacher for Shop Fix Academy. Clients of Shop Fix Academy have expressed that the courses, conferences, 1-on-1 coaching, speeches, and other content is so effective because they combine a level of depth that any size shop can deploy while also being simple to understand — no boring lectures or time-wasting coaching calls.
Aaron’s aim through Shop Fix Academy is to provide more value to the industry than anyone else and to transform the industry.
